Information we collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide. This may happen when you:
Fill out our contact form
Sign up for our newsletter (if applicable)
Submit a special request or inquiry
Make a booking through our website or booking engine (where applicable)
The personal information we may collect includes:
Name
Email address
Phone number (if provided)
Reservation details
Any message or special requests you choose to submit
We use this information to respond to your inquiries, manage your reservation, and enhance your guest experience.
We also collect some information automatically when you visit our website, including your IP address and approximate location, your browser and device type, the pages you view and links you click, the website or advertisement that referred you, and your activity in our booking engine. This information is collected using cookies and similar technologies, as described in Analytics, Cookies and Advertising below.
Bookings & third-party services
If you make a reservation online, your booking may be processed through a third-party service provider or booking engine (such as Mews, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.). These platforms have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them during the booking process.
We may also work with trusted partners for secure payment processing, customer service, or email communications.
Analytics, cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and for advertising. Specifically:
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our site, so we can improve it.
Advertising. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, and Google Hotel Ads to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. These technologies use cookies and device identifiers to recognize a browser across visits.
Information shared with advertising partners. When you complete a booking, we share a record of that reservation with Meta so we can measure which advertisements lead to bookings. This includes the reservation value, currency, and a transaction identifier. It may also include your email address in hashed form, converted into an irreversible string of characters using SHA-256 before it leaves our systems, so that Meta can match the booking to an account without us disclosing your actual email address. We also share your IP address and browser user-agent, which Meta receives in any case when your browser loads content from its servers.
Marketing and guest communications. We use Klaviyo to send email and text messages you have opted into, and Akia for guest messaging. These services set cookies and store the contact details you give us.
Security. We use DataDome to protect the site from automated abuse and fraud, which requires processing technical information about your device.
Your choices. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent banner and can accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set. Visitors elsewhere can control cookies through their browser settings, and can opt out of interest-based advertising through the tools offered by each platform, including Meta's ad preferences and Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of marketing email and text messages at any time using the unsubscribe link or by replying STOP.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws, including in California, define sale or sharing broadly enough to include the use of advertising cookies described above. If you would like us to stop sharing your information for advertising purposes, email contact@thewesleyaz.com and we will honor your request.

We may use the information you provide to:
Respond to your inquiries

SMS / Text Messaging
If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, The Wesley Hotel may send you text messages (SMS or RCS) about your reservation, guest services, and, where you have consented, occasional promotional offers.
How you opt in: You can consent to receive text messages by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts through our website forms, at the time of booking, or on our guest registration card at check-in. Consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of booking a stay or purchasing any service.
What we send: Messages may include reservation confirmations and updates, guest service messages, check-in and checkout information, and, for guests who opt in to marketing, news and special offers.
Message frequency and rates: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
Opting out: You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or contact us at contact@thewesleyaz.com.
Your privacy: We do not sell your personal information. Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages you have requested, for example our messaging platform and the carriers.
Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Data security
We take data protection seriously and follow best practices to safeguard your personal data. This includes:
Using secure platforms with encryption and access controls
Limiting access to personal data to authorized staff only
Regularly reviewing and updating our data handling practices
Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, such as responding to inquiries or maintaining relationships, and legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, unless we are required to retain it by law (e.g., for tax or accounting purposes).
