Stargazing at Horseshoe Bend, June 11. A guided night-sky session out at the overlook, about five minutes from our front door. Page has some of the darkest skies in the Southwest, and this is the easiest way to use them. If you're here that week, this is your after-dinner plan.

Outdoor Market on Elm, June 13 and 27. Local vendors, food, and crafts downtown on the second and fourth Saturday mornings. A relaxed way to see the town side of Page, not just the canyons.

Movies in the Park, June 12 and 26. Free outdoor movies at John C. Page Memorial Park at dusk. June 12 is The Good Dinosaur, June 26 is Jurassic World. Bring a blanket; it's an easy, no-cost family night.

A Movie Under the Stars: America 250, June 6. A one-time outdoor movie night tied to the country's 250th. Free and in town.

Didgeridoo Down Under, June 23. A live music-and-comedy show for families at the Page Public Library. A good indoor option if the afternoon heat runs long.

What early summer actually feels like

June is when the heat arrives. Daytime highs climb into the 90s and the sun is relentless, but the air is dry and the evenings cool off fast. A few honest notes:

  • Mornings are the move. Book Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend early, before the heat and the crowds.

  • Hydrate more than feels reasonable. The dry air hides how much you're sweating.

  • The light lasts. Long June days mean you can do a canyon in the morning, the lake in the afternoon, and Horseshoe Bend at sunset without rushing.

Lake Powell check

By June the water's warm enough to swim and the marinas are in full summer swing. Levels shift year to year, so check conditions when you arrive (or just ask us). Wahweap overlook is the easy win if you only want the view.
