Hot air balloons rising over red rock at dawn in Page, Arizona.

November 5 to 8, 2026 · Page, Arizona

The Page Balloon Regatta Is Coming. Sleep Where It Happens.

Balloons launch at 7:15 each morning. Our guests watch them climb with coffee still warm in hand, while everyone who booked out of town is still on Highway 89.

Why stay at The Wesley for the Regatta

The Wesley sits at 150 N Lake Powell Blvd, right on the boulevard where it all happens. The Saturday night Balloon Glow lights up our street. The street fair on Elm Street is a short walk. John C. Page Memorial Park, one of the two launch sites, is a walk up the boulevard. You will not move your car much this weekend, and that is the point.

We are the first and only boutique hotel in Page. Two of us bought the old Lake Powell Canyon Inn and rebuilt it room by room, and it reopened in 2026 as The Wesley. After the glow winds down at 8, you are a few steps from your room instead of a dark drive back to wherever.

The weekend, practically

Mornings: be close or miss it

Mornings: be close or miss it

Launches start at 7:15am from Lake Powell National Golf Course and John C. Page Memorial Park. Early November mornings in Page run cold, usually in the 30s. From The Wesley, the park is a short walk and the golf course is about five minutes by car. Grab coffee, put on a real jacket, and you are there before the first envelope fills.

Between launch and dinner

Between launch and dinner

The balloons are down by mid-morning, which leaves you a full day in one of the best day-trip towns in the Southwest. Antelope Canyon is minutes away, but tours are guided and they sell out, so book before you arrive. Horseshoe Bend is a ten-minute drive and a short walk to the rim. Lake Powell is quiet in November, and the light on the water is worth the drive to Wahweap alone.

Where to eat

Where to eat

Friday and Saturday, the street fair on Elm Street has food vendors, a beer garden, and live music. Beyond that, Page eats better than a town of 7,000 has any right to: brisket at Big John’s Texas Style Barbeque down the boulevard, fried chicken at BirdHouse, tacos at El Tapatio. Then come back to the hotel and compare balloon photos.

November 5 to 8, 2026

This is the biggest lodging weekend of the fall in Page, and the town sells out. Our king rooms are open to book right now, and more of the hotel comes online as the renovation wraps. When they are gone, they are gone.

We ask for a two-night minimum over Regatta weekend. Rates are our standard rates. No code, no fine print. Book direct with us and you deal with people who live here, not a call center.
